New Star Wars FPS in the works at Apex Legends studio, Respawn Entertainment
Just when you thought EA would stop making Star Wars games, the developer has come out and announced that a brand new Star Wars FPS is in development at first-person shooter aficionados, Respawn Entertainment. The studio, which has produced two of the best FPS games of the last decade, Apex Legends and Titan fall, has brought together a new team that is led by Peter Hirschman. Hirschman previously worked as an executive producer on the original Star Wars Battlefront games and also worked on the recent Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond VR FPS for Oculus platforms. In a statement from the announcement Hirschman said that “Working with Lucasfilm Games on a new FPS in the Star Wars galaxy is a dream come true for me, as this is a story I have always wanted to tell”. The announcement didn’t contain any details about the game, and it still sounds a while away.
