Amy Hennig announces a new game of Star Wars
A couple of years ago, Amy Hennig, creator of Uncharted, presented us with a new vision for Star Wars. However, this project was canceled and everything seemed to indicate that the legendary developer would move away from this series. Fortunately, this has changed today, since A new degrees Wars by Henning has been announced.
Skydance New Media, study co-created by Henning, is in charge of this project , which is described as a "richly cinematographic action game and adventures that presents an original story." This was what the developer mentioned in this regard:
"I have often described how to see Star Wars in 1977 essentially reconnected my 12-year-old brain, molding my creative life and my future indelibly. I am delighted to return to work with Lucasfilm Games to tell interactive stories in this galaxy that I love. "
Although the original conception of Skydance New Media seemed to indicate that the study was to focus mainly on transmedia content for streaming services, the last two ads on this team have focused on games. Recall that last year, This team revealed a Marvel title which will give you a great weight to the narrative.
In this way, the next SkyDance New Media job joins projects such as ** _ Star Wars: Eclipse_ by Quantic Dreams, the Ubisoft Montreal open world game, and the three titles of the series that are still a EA charge. Unfortunately, there is still no substantial information about the title by Amy Hennig. There is no name, release date or platforms.
On related topics, Star Wars Visions could have a second season. Similarly, Kingdom Hearts IV would have a world of Star Wars.
Editor's note:
Amy Hennig knows perfectly how to make action games with a narrative approach. In this way, I am very excited about this project. While it seems that many years are still missing to see this title in our hands, at least I know that the series is in the right hands.
