Star Wars Eclipse: Leak indicates big problem - fans are destroyed on the ground

After an impressive teaser trailer in December 2021 it quickly became quiet again around Star Wars Eclipse. A leak could now deliver the reason, because developer Quantic Dream seems to have a big problem. Fans must now be very strong.

When should Star Wars Eclipse appear?

Video games in the Star Wars Universe have become a real rarity in recent years. The first trailer for Star Wars Eclipse during the Game Awards 2021 has just made for much enthusiasm among the fans. The industry insider Tom Henderson , however, has a bad news: The release date could be five or even six years away.

In an article for the Xfire page, he explains that the trailer should attract only new developers to Quantic Dream. Another example of this trend in the industry is, for example, Bethesdas Teaser to The Elder Scrolls 6 . In the case of Star Wars Eclipse, however, the plan does not seem to have been taken. The QUANTIC DREAM website shows that the developer studio wants to fill more than 60 positions (Source: Quantic Dream). According to Henderson, the job offers would even be updated manually so that it looks like they are not yet open.

Why is Quantic Dream in the criticism?

Henderson sees a statement for the problems of Quantic Dream in the numerous controversies around the studio and its boss David Cage.
