Star Wars: George Lucas had a problem with baby Yoda

A special sympathy was one of the main characters of the series: Baby Yoda , or Grogu , as he is actually officially called. Whether young or old, no one can resist the little green being clefness.

But when George Lucas visited the filming to the series, he apparently had a problem with the figure of Grogu. This revealed the executive producer Dave Piloni in a new book titled The Art of the Mandalorian: Season 2 .

There, the producer tells that it was a concern for Lucas to ensure that Grogu receives adequate Jedi training. He feared well that the makers of the series would completely ignore this aspect of Grogus hero show. In the book, Filoni says:

"I've talked to George someday about the child. His main concern was that the child has to receive adequate education." _

Filoni has a close relationship with Lucas and had worked with him at The Clone Wars . So it is likely that Filoni wanted to steer the history of Grogu anyway in this direction. Nevertheless, it is exciting to hear that Lucas Filoni has expressed this concern as he discussed the course of the story of Baby Yoda.

George Lucas still has an influence

Despite all the differences over the years, it seems that Lucasfilm still listens when the Star Wars Creator pronounces his concerns. Because Baby Yoda got his Jedi training of no lesser than Luke Skywalker, who has learned even under Master Yoda.
