No end in sight for Star Wars: The Old Republic

Air, there are always up, but Star Wars fans will not be all too poorly powered in 2021. Finally, two months ago, the remake of Knights of the Old Republic was announced, and Switch players may enjoy the RPG classic in four days in his old flower on Nintendo s Handheld.

And also the Star Wars-MMO The Old Republic from Bioware, published in 2011, remains wacker. For the 10th anniversary, one announced a new and the now eighth extension with Legacy of the Sith. In addition, the established combat styles are to be softened, so that you only have to decide between tech and power class and story strand in the future.

The journey continues: Bioware sees no reason to stop

How Creative Director Charles Boyd revealed in a conversation with Gamer, the team No plans, in the near future [with Star Wars: The Old Republic] have to stop. Fans are still allowed to support the MMOs and many new stories and adventure.

One reason for this is the franchise itself according to Boyd: Star Wars is one of the most comprehensive IPs ever. It can be a magnificent space opera, a story of good against evil, but it can also go a lonely bounty hunter who wandered around and done his job. It can go for a spy or smugglers — all possible story types are supported. Furthermore, it is such a sanctions of different genres [...] that I think you have a lot of possibilities, even if it s all Star Wars must be.

How is Star Wars: The Old Republic?

Although Boyd s lips were mostly sealed over the future of Star Wars: The Old Republic mostly sealed, the Creative Director gave a small view of potentially upcoming content and stories. With this: the complex character Magus. Magus is at the beginning. He is probably our most famous villain. [...] Since it is already ten years now, it could be that we will return to the starting point, maybe a kind of graduation for Magus. Whatever That means.

Day three, no end in sight !swtor !server [DTS] Whether there will be more stories to the individual classes in the future, but Boyd holds for way out: I think it is unlikely that we ever go in this direction, so there are eight different stories that last for several years. That would be like that Many things you need to observe and produce. It would finally be eight times as much work, right?
