Summoner Wars Online officially released

Summoner Wars is a videogame established by Plaid Hat Games as well as Playdek, and also based upon the 2009 board game of the very same name. The iOS variation was released on July 4, 2012. Now, although Summoner Wars Online is officially released and available, it is not yet complete and there are more functions in development. There will be a Steam version that will be launched for both Windows and Mac (which is currently configured for a fourth quarter of 2021), and that will include the multiplatform game and the ability to transfer web purchases to the Steam and vice version.

The game itself will also have new features, including Saga mode, which is a small 1-player history campaign for each invoator that also presents unlockable unlockable rewards. There is also the challenge mode, which presents riddles and challenges to solve for each invoator.

Plaid Hat is also freeing access to two free features per month for non-subscribers, and for August and September, those factions are the Phoenix Elves and Tundra Orcs. The physical versions of these factions will arrive at the Starter Set of the second edition this October.
