At the end of 2017, I claimed in my wish list for 2018 that the best star trek game of recent years probably the privately developed St Newhorizons mod for stellaris is. It took almost four more years until a worthy successor could be comfortable on the throne of the best star trek games, and again a privately developed mod.

The name of the Mod: Star Trek: Armada 3 , as a reference to the first two Star Trek: Armada parts from the years 2000 and 2001. The mod itself was for the 4x strategy game SINS OF A Solar Empire: Rebellion developed, which you can currently tend to steam for a set discount (10.19 euros instead of 33.99 euros).

The team behind the mod has spent the last nearly ten years to exchange all assets in Soase: Rebellion with Star Trek counterparts. The MOD plays in the middle of the Dominion War, and you can try as a federation, Klingon Empire, Romulan, Cardassian or the Borg your luck. The mod developers have all ship models adapted as well as the designs of the user interface or the sound and music files. There are even new cinematics and voice lines for well-known figures like Captain Picard, Martok or Locutus. Say: There is a lot of work and heart blood in the project.

Activision Blizzard China rejected application for the simplified review of the takeover
