Preview of Star Renegades Video - Indie Well done

Massive Damage, the independent developers behind Halcyon 6 , have learned a lot from their first match and their new follow-up Renegats has the potential to become a new independent classic. Renefits star is a strategy RPG on an invasion force of inter-dimensional robots that conquer and simply consume the multiverse. Renefits star has a large procedural generation element that means you will not have a linear history experience. Your story will not be the same as someone else playing game. It s because of the multiverse angle. Although it was not deeply explored in the version we played, you can already see the fun of the characters to meet, or to face face to face with a version of a different universe.

Fight in Renefits star could very largely be described as inspired by the JRPGs to the extent that the heroes are held on the left side of the screen and the enemies stand on the right side of the screen, frozen, waiting for orders to be given. The torsion arrives in the form of a chronology. At each turn, you know how long each movement will take to run, and you know when the enemies plan to move. If you have played this kind of games, you can see the strategies unfold. Team with a quick character to participate in small low-damage attacks, setting up a greater hero to find yourself in trouble. You can even eliminate the enemies of the chronology and stun. This system crosses a stone-paper-scissor-type system, in which different characters are more (or less) vulnerable to certain types of attacks (such as burst, heavy or the area of ​​effect). Renefits star already presents an excellent writing that is well punctuated and transmitted effectively, and art and sound design are just as impressive. Renefits star feels like the perfect continuation of Halcyon 6. With the experience behind them, massive damage creates a game that impresses with ambition. We only have to follow its development to see if it continues to impress in execution.
