15 video games we may never get

Not all our dreams can be true.

Max Payne 4

Max Payne is a rare example of a video game franchise that had no mistrepiece. Max Payne 1, 2 and 3 are all incredible games - and it does not look like we would soon play Max Payne 4. The property is owned by Rockstar. As we have already mentioned, they focus exclusively on their two flag mast franchises and are likely to be built for foreseeable time. As much as we would like to play a new Max Payne game, nothing indicates that this will be possible shortly.

Metal gear solid 6

Metal Gear Solid ended out on a very strange way for so many reasons. The phantom pain is an incomplete game that can not tell the whole story that it wanted. It's bad enough, but there is also the fact that Hideo Kojima is no longer at Konami. The possibility that Konami brings an important new Meta Gear game (that's not something like Survive) is far enough away, and even if this should happen is not to be forgotten if it would be good, especially if Kojima is not More responsible.

Burnout 6

Burnout was once one of the best and high-quality arcade racing franchises, but since EA Need for Speed wanted to use as a brand, they focused instead with all the power. Burnout died as a result of a sudden death and despite the start of Burnout Paradise Remastered in 2018, there seems to be no revival. Criterion has been reduced to a support studio for the beginning, so it's hard to imagine that you work on a new burnout game. In addition, EA seems to be pleased to focus on Need for Speed with Ghost Games.

F-Zero Sequel

Since the last release of F-Zero, almost two decades have passed. The incredible F-Zero GX appeared in 2003 for the GameCube, followed by the GBA title F-Zero Climax in 2004 (which was never published outside of Japan). Sixteen years since a new F-Zero game has come out, and a complete lack of interest in the franchise of Nintendo (although certainly not the fans) are enough to indicate that it will probably not be continued in the coming years ( Probably) more).

Star Fox Sequel

As with F-Zero, it does not look like Star Fox is a franchise where Nintendo is currently too much interest. Sure, Star Fox was a much more active franchise than F-Zero, but it has been a while since there is a real, remarkable publication. Star Fox Zero was a disappointment, Star Fox 6D 6 3D a Remake and Star Fox Command on the DS already appeared in 2006. As much as we wish a new Star Fox game, Nintendo's priorities seem to be different.

Star Wars: Knight of the old Republic 3

There is no doubt that Biowares Classic Knights of the Old Republic is the best Star Wars game that has ever existed. Unfortunately, despite years of demand many fans, it does not look like a Knights of the Old Republic 3 would ever happen - especially if EA is responsible for the license.

New Silent Hill game

Given the lack of interest of Konami to develop other video games than Pro Evolution Soccer, it is doubtful if one of their great franchisees will return to the market. However, given the environment around Silent Hill, this seems to be particularly difficult. Silent Hills was the last big game that Konami had under Hideo Kojima in development before being canceled and Kojima became independent. To tackle our wounds with salt, Konami recently announced a new Silent Hill ... game machine. So yes, a sequel is from the table.

New Castlevania game

We only repeat ourselves at this point, but Konami does not seem to be interested in doing something meaningful with their franchisers in the video game industry, and Castlevania will certainly suffer from it. Besides, the last big Castlevania game we got in 2014 was Lords of Shadow 2, which was not so great at all. Konami seemed to remove from the series, even if they made games.

Dead room 4

There is no shortage of franchise companies for developers who have adopted EA at an early stage. One of the reasons that impress us the most is Dead Space. The incredible horror franchise of Visceral Games delivered two outstanding games (and a mediocre), but as the studio has shut down itself and Dead Space does not fit the EA business model for live services, the franchise does not seem to have a lot of a future.

Suikoden 6

Yes, another Konami franchise. But suicodes, unlike some other Konami objects, is a series that we have not hope for many, many years. The last suicode game already appeared in 2006 and since then Konami has not really paid a lot of attention to the series. Of all Konami concessions, a revival for suicides seems extremely unlikely.

New Zone of the Ender

Already in the mid-2000s, Zone of Enders has no doubt one of Konami's best franchise companies and it's a series that has impressed a while. But over time Zone of Enders stepped into the background - in the dimensions in which Konami simply no longer considers to invest in something. Konami has settled in a pleasant rhythm, in which they focus on mobile games and PES as flag mast publications. It's hard to see where Zone of Enders would fit.

New Advance Wars game

Given the number of franchise companies that Nintendo has in stock, it makes sense that many of them are inactive (some are even on this list), but the lack of Advance Wars prepares us more pain than most others. This was a series that has been impressed again and again. It is based on excellent round-based tactics. Over the years, however, it was also clear that Nintendo does not intend to bring them back - especially because the developers of intelligent systems focus on Fire Emblem.

Continuation of alien isolation

In view of what is considered by many as the best alien game of all time, it is quite disappointing that we have not seen a follow-up yet. The isolation has prevailed in 2014, and in all the years since then the IP owners have little indication that they will work on a continuation. Do we want a sequel? Absolutely. Will we get one? Very unlikely.

Alan Wake 2

Alan Wake is still considered one of the most popular Games of Remedy Entertainment. That says a lot if you look at all the games you have worked over the years. Surely there was a great demand for a sequel, and Remedy itself has also talked about wanting to do a multiple times. During a conversation with VG247 Remedy Entertainment Communication Director Thomas Puha recently spoke about the question of a continuation of Alan Wake and how a Alan Wake 2 had developed a few years ago, but that this was ultimately not the case. , Do not swing out. Puha also realized that Remedy Entertainment itself is owner of the Alan Wake IP and that the only thing she prevents from making a continuation, time, money and resources is.
